Default What sensor is this?

Today while changing the oil on my 2018 3.5, I noticed a small "wet spot" coming from this sensor. The sensor is very loose and it looks like the gasket came unseated. I managed to get the gasket seated again but it still seems loose to me. The photo is dark but sensor in question is on the passenger side of the crank. The truck has been running fine with no codes. Truck is still under warranty so I have no problem taking it in if this is not normal.

I have a question if you will? I see from time to time you post these pages or even whole chapters that seem to come from a service manual? Do you have access to an online source? Is this from the link that will give access for a brief period? I think it's great that you can get the these descriptions and share them. I'm also thinking someday down the road when I need to dig in and figure what may be going on with my truck. This ain't my '64 T-Bird.

Looking at the schematic above it looks like this connection is not bolted or secured to the front cover. The grommet/bellow around the connection is seated inside the bore of the front engine cover and the "wings" of the connection secure it from the back. Does this seem correct?

Made an appointment to have this fixed by the dealer. I believe the seal to be installed backwards as it will not stay in the front cover. Can this seal be replaced with the front engine cover in place?
