What, no CD player in 2019 Lariat? That's dumb!

I'm not sure what all vehicles this works for, but I downloaded an update free from Sync - https://syncnavigation.com/ford/home
It was not tied to any dealership, promo, etc.

I have a one of a kind 2018 XLT complete with factory CD player. I'd be willing to let it go for $100,000. That price is only for F150 Forum supporters though, otherwise it'll cost ya $100,025 for my vintage CD player on wheels.
Just messing around (unless you're really wiling to pay me that much for my truck)... but I am glad I got a CD player with my truck since I do still own CD's. ha.

So, I was just helping my parents shop for a new cell phone for my Mom and came across something interesting.
None of the Samsung phones offered by Xfiniti (which uses Verizon towers) have expandable memory. Here's a link to the phones on Verison's Site -

I ordered her another LG, which is expandable, since the one she has still works fine. Just needs replaced due to a shattered screen. She stores audio books on a card.

Well, I decided that the course of technology and musical media - my significant collection of CDs that I've already paid for, the lack of CD players in new vehicles, and the lack of optical drives in new computers - required me to finally convert all my CDs now. It was about a 50 hour project, popping a CD into my laptop about every 5 minutes, writing them all to MP3s and then copying to thumb drives and other devices. Now my entire library of 600+ CDs resides on one thumb drive in the little cubby in my truck console. I need to find a better way to browse it.

See, isn't technology great? I'd hit the shuffle button and just enjoy your own personal radio station.

I grew up with CDs. But i also grew up with technology making leaps and bounds every few years. Who gives a f*** if it makes a resurgence in 20 to 30 years. I will be either very old or very dead. I will take the convenience of youtube piping through my speakers or an SD card. Much easier, less mess and cheaper....
