Default What is this leaking?

Just saw some spots on the driveway in the snow and looked underneath. I think its Powersteering but looked in the manual and no way to check the fluid level as its electronic power steering. any thoughts
Its under the passenger side coming from a seal looks like. Sorry for the grainy pictures but its night now and cant really get good ones.

Your pictures leave a bit to be desired - but if the fluid originates from that metal piece that the front axle goes into - then it's the front differential seal that would need replaced.

Remember that fluid leaking travels down and back. Of course a rotational element there can skew the way things look. Either way, it's under warranty right? Let them worry about it.

Yup I've only had it for 5 weeks maybe, so its under warranty. ****ty thing is we only have 1 vehicle and a kid so less time in the shop is desired, hence why we traded our old truck in as it was always in the shop.

Looks like it's coming from the end of the rack, not sure if it's ATF or actual power steering fluid in there. Either way, looks like that's the culprit. I heard they're made in China from reading the EAPS threads.

ya ill head to the dealer tomorrow. just hopefully can get in thus week for it and its not long in there. dont think its rad fluid. i was thinking power steering or front diff seal as it smells like power steering but looks like a seal leak. either way hopefully quick fix as i have light brackets coming in and want to install before christmas driving

Deffinitly not Power Steering fluid. As all these new f150s have electronic power assisted steering.
