This included text and voice based navigation and business search. This used to be free on my 2010 F150. On my 2012 F150 it was $100/year. I can't seem to find either of those services on the new 2016 F150.

 

You have the new Sync 3 which is totally different than the older Microsoft Sync. You can sign up for SiriusXM Traffic and
Travel Link which is a paid service, but I believe that Sync Services from prior versions is gone.

 

I thought siriusxm traffic and travel was free for five years on all new f150's

 

The question was about Basic Sync Services, which I believe is NOT part of Sync 3.

If a 2015+ is equipped with Navigation, then I believe you are correct that the SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link is free for 5 years.

 

So it looks like now you have to get the Sync 3 to get those. I'll pass and continue using Google maps navigation. Just wish that was an app like Pandora, so I could see it on the trucks screen.
