Did you replace it with OEM or aftermarket?

I've never really had rust problems on any of my trucks. I'm starting to see some surface rust on my 89 bronco 2 but I'll clean that up soon.

Being a forester the only way my truck stays clean is if i leave it at home. I want to have a clean truck but it just wasn't meant to be.

Went out to drive the truck today and was disappointed that the driver's door lock was frozen shut.
I opened the pass. side and reached across and had to squeeze the handle pretty hard to pop the driver's door, u but it did not unlock.
I grabbed the extension cord and my heat gun and after about 4-5 min I had it unlocking and locking and opening and closing.
I put everything away and went to leave about 20 min later and the door opened but would not latch.

I then played with the lock, and it locked and latched closed but would not unlock.
It was only a high of 12 with a nasty wind chill, so I said eff it and came back in.

I just tested the wattage draw of my heat gun and I can put my small portable generator in the bed and use an extension cord to thaw the locks wherever I go.

I might have to stop @ the local Ford dealer and put on a show for any prospective customers.

I'm having the same problem with my passenger door. The recall has already been done and it's a one time thing. When the recall doesn't fix it, you are on your own. When it warms up, I'll pull the door panel off and work on the outside door handle and cable.

it’s been leveled since about a month after I bought it.

pictures sometimes seem off due to the ground it’s on and the angle in which I’m holding the camera…I usually just walk backwards and snap a pic. It usually sits 3/4 of an inch high In the rear.

i actually just put the RAS back on so now it’s closer to 1.5 inches higher.

but here is a pic from a few days ago where i took a few seconds to ensure reality matched the pic:
