The person I bought it from must buy a bunch at once and sell them because I bought the same one for my dad 2 Christmas's ago and it worked for 4 months before he sold the truck with no issues.

It just sticks on with 3M, plugs into the 4-pin, and taps into the reverse light like most of them.

Part of the reason I didn't wire it up to my tail lights right away is to make sure it's going to last long enough to make it worth it.
Yea I ran mine off the trailer hookup and never had any issues, though I can't remember if the bars disappeared on the screen in the process. Just after sending it back 2 X I stuck it out and then the same thing happend with #3 so I left it on until I traded her in.
Did you also hook up the reverse light? Maybe thats the issue that caused the lines to vanish. I think mine just wasn't sealed good from the factory cause the problem with all 3 was in the same exact spot.

I'm pretty sure the reverse lines disappear when you plug something into the trailer harness.

The lines wouldn't do you any good when you're backing up a trailer since the trailer goes in the opposite direction of the truck when you back up.

But I honestly can't remember if the lines were there when I've had trailers hooked up in the past.

I made the BCM changes with Forscan for the 18" wheels/tires I put on last weekend and also swapped out the lugnuts for the Gorillas that just came in today.

Well I found this behind the back seat. The upper back seat on a super cab doesn't move when you move the lower portion of the seat. I removed the headrest on the drivers side and worked my fingers and hand down behind the seat a few times and finally felt something like a nylon strap. After a number of tries I got a finger in it enough to pull and bam the seat popped loose. The strap is attached so that I don't think I need to buy anything special to make this more accessible but just add to what's already in place. I found a nylon battery carry strap in my junk that came off a battery and plan to add it to what's already there. I haven't figured how yet but it will get done.

Swapped out my 1.5" strut spacer for Rancho Quicklift coilovers today. Noticed a little firmer ride in the short 4 or 5 miles I've driven it today.

I picked this up off Amazing but have yet to install it. Should make things a little bit easier.

That release is a direct ripoff of the Builtright seat release made by a vender on the forums.

If you're not gonna buy the Built Right, you can always put a zip tie around the factory nylon strap and it'll stay put after that.
Us SuperCab owners are the ones that need the Built Right more than the Screws to get that seat back down.
