i had a '68 roadrunner out of high school but the '70, imo, had the best looking grill.

@52isntbigenough
I tried getting a spray in liner thrown in when I bought my truck in August....sales guy looked at me like I had Skittles Pox.

yea they act like you're cutting into their overhead. Kind of a pisser. That's why I'm sticking it to them for a 1/16th of an inch slight separation on my passenger door handle as a defect. I mean I figured if I paid 55,000 for a truck before tax, tag, title, etc. and it's my 6th or 7th truck at this dealership with only 1 past warranty repair they'd think I wasn't scamming. But when the service manager started giving me double talk about finding the part, I called Ford parts to confirm availability and to show him I'm not an idiot who's gonna let you BS me into getting screwed and enjoying it.
So tomorrow, after waiting almost 2 weeks cause they had to have high resolution Picts (which I sent to begin with) I should be getting a call from one of their service writers for a time.

He'll I had to pay $500.00 for shipping to get it from Mobile, AL to central FL.
Damn shame good reliable customers are treated that way anymore.

He'll be 7 the day after thanksgiving. His name is "Dakota".

Thanks for the comments. He's a very loving lab and one of my favorites...well, they have been my favorites.

As the saying goes..."old men miss many dogs". Ain't that the truth.

I was sooo hoping not to have to spend the money on a new cover. I am going to 1st try to readjust the cover, maybe move it back a bit so that it will meet the tailgate and then use some extra weather stripping to cover up the space that will become open in the front. But I won't ahve an opportunity to try this until at least next week.
So, yours is not mounted over the bed surroundings? Or is it a tad smaller than mine?
Mine overlaps very well all around, it just looks like this:

Well after driving around with it on for a couple of days, the latch weatherstripping seems to be sliding around freely. This is what it looks like now.

I think I might be switching to an inside mount, as opposed to my current over the rails setup!
