i was thinking about dropping mine and getting the plates welded on, then sanding, priming and repainting but I’ll just order the RCI one I think and take a load on reselling this one.

Ditto - I put on the ingot ones yesterday. Great pieces for $75. The paint quality is pretty dang good from what I can tell. Cracks me up these guys on YouTube are like, "Yeah I paid $300 for the painted mirror caps, but I wanted the best!" Uh, sure thing there pardna Your money, your truck though

I just ordered straight from RCI...according to their website they have a decent lead time but they did offer a small military discount. I think total was $250 for the plate compared to the $200 i paid for the other one...not sure why i chose to cheap out the first time, lol.
The RCI one seems to cover a lot more and i have yet to hear a complaint.

Got to spend the whole with baby. First was the alignment shop, all in the green even after my 2.5" level coilovers. Next was the dealer for 1st oil change, shifter cable recall, and reverse camera recall. All done.
The alignment shop did adjust the left front toein, to take care of a slight drift to the right. Perfect now.
Stopped for some good Mexican takeout on the way home.

Nice John, I am up for an alignment. After all the winter potholes get filled of course. Once I get the new tires on then its off to the alignment shop. My steering wheel is at about 11:50 and its driving me nuts, literally!

Oh, that would drive me nuts too, I can't stand to see that. A shop we used to use on the big trucks would never pay attention to the steering wheel, until the boss quite using them. Just plain laziness on their part.

Got around to installing the Ford OEM tailgate dampener today - one of the clips on the taillight didn't want to budge but it was a pretty seamless install otherwise. I can definitely say I like it more than the DeeZee tailgate assist I had on my 09, I like the fact that it's completely hidden
