I'm cross-posting this from the Kicker Hideaway thread here hoping to get lucky.
I own a 2019 that doesn't appear to have the WPT1212 plug to allow me to do an install of a Hideaway using the plug and play method. Herkguy posted this picture of a bundle of wires that he found behind his rear seat. Given that they appear to have at least some of the same color wires as the ones that feed the subwoofer plug on the 2018 and older trucks and they are wrapped in the same color of wrap, could it be possible that it's the same cables that were used with the WPT1212 in previous years with no connector attached to the end? It looks like a ground, but I was hoping that the speaker wiring was already there, they just stashed it there without the plug. I found what appears to be the plug that the WPT1212 mates to...it is a WPT1439 linked below. I wonder if I could just purchase the WPT1439 and a WPT1212, put the WPT1439 on those wires, and finish out the rest of the install the way that the 2018 and older guys would.
I agree, looks like you’re in the same boat I was with my ‘20. I ended up running RCA’s from my headunit with some Kicker KISL leads. Not difficult, just a little time consuming.
