What is the best type of leveling block?
I know that there will be several people who want to answer saying that a new strut that can be raised to a desired level is what they feel is best, but I am not looking for that answer.
I purely want to know if the general consensus is that the all aluminum puck (Auto Spring, Moto Fab, etc) is the best, or is the steel puck (https://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-2018-F...a80f%7Ciid%3A1) better than the aluminum one?
I have read and read and looked and read and looked again at the threads that talk about 1.5" vs 2" and I have decided that I would just like to split the difference and go with a 1.75", problem is they are a bit hard to find.

I installed MotoFab 2" pucks on my truck before going with leveling struts.
The brand of spacer you get doesn't matter. Steel or aluminum, doesn't matter. Neither is compressible. Just get something with good hardware. If you pay more than $50, you've paid too much.

I suspect there’s some frequency of vibration that a poly puck will squelch... but I doubt anyone could tell the difference between that and a metal puck.

On my last truck, I had an aluminum spacer that decided to mate with the steel tophat. I had to cut the bloody thing off/out.
Steel is really my choice, or a lot of antisieze between spacer and tophat.

I put some off brand 2.5" steel set of spacers on mine. Was around $48. Came with nylon nuts. Haven't had an issue. I'm not sure why some people pay $100+ for the same ting with a 'name' on it. I do have a set of Bilstien 5100 sitting in the garage waiting to go on the front and I will be pulling the spacer out.
