I thought I was losing my mind, and maybe I am. I thought my seat had been moved about 3 weeks ago. It was definately lower than my normal ride height. Haven't noticed it since, but now I see this thread. Makes me go Hmmmmm

XLT with the 302A...

Truck sits at home unlocked so I thought maybe someone screwing with me.. Maybe not. No-one has driven the truck but be in the 3 months I've owned it.

Happens all the time on mine. The recline switch is in a poor location. I hit it getting out every time. I was getting out one day and stopped to get something out of the console and noticed the reclining seat in motion. By body was depressing the switch back. I've paid attention now and that was and is the cause of it moving.

Interesting.

I've had my truck (2015 Lariat SuperCrew w/ 502a incl. heated/cooled 10-way seats) for about a month now.

I went on a trip to Vermont, and took a co-worker with me for the two-day trip.

The day after, I got in the truck to take my wife somewhere, and she commented that her seat was reclined. I didn't recall my co-worker had reclined it, but just assumed he had.

Now I'll be keeping an eye on the seats to check if they self-recline.

Here's an update:

I paid 100% close attention I wasn't hitting the recline for the past 2 weeks. I didn't and the seat kept reclining. Sometimes 2-3 times in a day if I'm running a lot of errands.

My mother's car went down so my dad let her drive his 2013 F-150 and I let him use my 2015 while I was on vacation from work.

He too said that he parked my truck at work, got into it after work, and found the seat reclined. As he's 5'8 and I'm 6'0....the amount reclined was much greater with him as he rides with it more inclined than I do making it much more noticeable. He also mentioned the passenger seat did the same.

So I called my dealer and set an appointment for 11am Tuesday. My dealer said that any work on the new F-150's has to be reported to Ford which causes them to have to keep the truck longer so I have to drive a loaner if they can't get it figured out within a couple hours.

I dunno what it could be? Maybe the motor doesn't hold the seat and it slowly reclines? Maybe there's something with the switch that when it's in the neutral position, it's ever so slightly in the recline position?

There is a wierd setting for EASY ENTRY AND EXIT that it could be. If you have it ...turn it off. With mine...whenever i open front door...the seat moves backward and steering wheel raises and slides in. Then returns to normal when getting back in. Its probably not your problem but maybe check it out.

I'm the only driver for mine. When I fixed it back the way I liked it I disconnected all power plugs from the seat. The mysterious reclining stopped. Like I thought, hitting the lever getting out was the cause of mine. Now it's confirmed.

I have had my truck for a few weeks. In the am when I get in the passenger seat is reclined. I put it up and then in the am its reclined again. Nobody has been in the passenger seat so not sure how this is happening. I thought I was losing my marbles until I noticed this thread.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to jump in here and let those of you experiencing this in your 2015's know that I'm here to help. I'll get a case into the hands of your regional customer service manager, who'll work with the dealer to get this resolved.

All I'll need to get started is a private message with your full name, VIN, servicing dealership, current mileage, and best daytime contact number.

Have a great day!

Brittany

Happened once to me as well on my Lariat.
If it keeps happening, I'll PM Brittany.
