Default weird power lock issue

2015 SCREW, XLT with 302A package

Went out to truk this morning and my fob wouldn't unlock the locks, tried the keypad, it was dead. Opened with key, inside switches also don't work. Tried starting truck, starts right up.

After some troubleshooting this is everything I find

Locks don't work but associated signals do, lights come on, horn honked on repeated fob press
battery is 12.02v when off, 14 something when running
checked fuse 24, it's good. Didn't notice any other relays or anything listed

Any run into this?

When my 2018 F150 battery began going down to 11.9 volts overnight it began a daily deep sleep mode. Strange stuff began, such as the passenger side door module quit operating even after the start in the morning. Automatic windshield wipers quit and other modules, New battery cured it all.

Have battery load tested. A very weak battery can still show 12 volts.

My money is on bad battery as well. Be careful, some load tests are less than great, returning false positive results. Some electronics seem to want a higher voltage to play nice, while the engine start is not one of them.

Charge the battery and see if those functions start working again. If so you can recharge the battery every few days or replace the it.

Thanks all, I suspect the battery as well

So Saturday we take the truck to run an errand. When we come back out to the store we're messing around with the buttons and such and when I start the truck I get the wrench icon. Then, when we get the truck home I try the fob 1 more time and....it works LOL. Been working fine since.

Pulled DTCs Sunday and didn't see anything too obvious. There was 1 general electric fault that called out the ignition so that may have been Saturdays. Cleared codes to see if anything pops up. Been behaving fine since that trip Saturday, planning on getting the battery load tested when I get a chance
