Default Weird issue

2018 STX. 2.7 liter. 104k.
My truck sometimes shows the washer fluid as low the first start of the day. After I drive a mile or two, it goes away.
Now another minor thing has cropped up. I like to change to eco mode when the engine is cold but it occasionally says "Drive Mode not available". That would go away after a mile or so but today, it displayed the "Drive Mode not available" all day.
Also, my stop\start has never worked since I've owned the truck. I'm getting no codes of any kind.
I, for some reason get the feeling that my battery is getting weaker.
Could this be happening because of a slightly weak battery?

Have the battery tested, should let you know. If original battery, I suspect it is on its last leg and ready to change out. I am on my 3rd battery in my 2018.

Good luck
Tom

Check the battery then I would check your ground points, especially the one under the hood next to the battery. I've had tons of weird stuff like that happened and that's what it ended up being. It was loose under the hood and corroded underneath.

Yes. A weak battery is known to start displaying weird error messages and disable A.S.S. Get it load tested to know for sure. A.S.S. also stops working if you have a battery that's more than a year or two old and make a lot of short trips that don't fully recharge it. If you put a charge on it overnight and A.S.S. starts working, it may have some life left in it. When was the battery made? They all have a date on the case.

My low washer fluid warning comes on when I park with the nose uphill, but then goes away when I drive on level ground for a couple minutes.

To finish this thread.......
I installed a new battery and all the issues resolved themselves.
