2016 502A tech package. I've had the truck since July and haven't done much night time driving. Tonight I started the truck and the headlight **** was in the auto position. I hit the foglight button and they didn't come on. I hit the side mirror spot light buttons and neither turned on. I turned the **** to the headlight setting and they fog and spotlights worked. Went to my destination turned off the truck. When I got back home I put the truck in park and **** on auto headlights. This time I tried the fog light button and spotlights and both everything worked with **** in auto position.

So I guess my question is should the fog lights and spotlights work when the **** is in auto position?

 

Yes, the fog lights will work in auto headlight setting. However, the fog light switch will only function when it is dark enough to turn on the auto headlights.

Spotlight will only come on when the parking lights are on and you are stopped or driving below 5mph.
