Default Weight of options

Hey guys, I was looking for a guide to how much each option weighs. I had one on the 2011-2014 F150 but have been unable to find one yet for the 2015's. I have searched for a 2014/2015 that fits what I want/need but no luck so far.

May just have to order one. I did this with a 2011 and it came in within 2 lbs of what I calculated. Since everything is all new, I'm sure the weights are all different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ex: I found 2 2015's that were optioned almost identical. One with 23 gallon tank and one with the 36 gallon tank. 13 gallons of gas weighs roughly 84 lbs but the payload was 120 lbs different.

Trying to avoid buying a truck that I know from the start I will be overweight.

Thanks guys and girls.

I looked hard for that guide before I ordered, but it wasn't, and still isn't available. As a point of reference, I avoided what I speculated to be the two heaviest options: Moonroof and power running boards, and my otherwise fully optioned 6.5' Lariat came in nicely at 1690# payload.

I agree. Your truck looks about like I would option it. Wife really wants the power step though. 1600 lb payload is the min I was looking for. Moonroof is a nono and no 20's. Hard to find a 502A without moonroof with the other options.

The sticker from my 4x4 6.5' bed platinum says 1,530 lbs payload. It does not have the moonroof, but it has most other options.

Mine is almost identical to 2015F150Platinum4x4's. Lariat 4x4 6.5' with power running boards and no moonroof has 1,547lb payload.

I believe the running boards are probably the heaviest option out there. Every truck I have seen with them has been in the 1400-1500 range.

You are probably right. I wish I could get HDPP with the 501A Package with a few options and just add power steps. Heck, you can't get remote start or bucket seats with the Heavy Duty Payload Package. Not sure why Ford went backwards. Last year you could get those options.
