Default Weak airflow

Hi all. I noticed whith the front instrument panel selected, if I choose to divert to the floor or windshield (with the front panel still selected) the front panel airflow goes down to almost nothing. With the front panel alone selected I get great airflow through it.

Had anyone else noticed this? I'm not sure if this is normal or something is broken here. I rarely mix the vents, but would think the air distribution would be more even when two or three are selected.

Thanks,

Matt

Nothing broken. Only real issue would be the blend door is not positioned perfectly.

If it is indeed a concern you can have the dealer adjust it but chances are they'll tell you it's set up the way it's supposed to be. I'm also not sure I'd want them screwing around with it as long as it's working even though not to your expectations. YMMV.

I'll be damned! My truck had the warped dash top since the day I bought it. I did notice it and just kinda ignored it and attributed it to the cheap junk materials EVERYTHING seems to be built with today. I didn't know it was an actual problem, LOL
Now I don't know if I should pursue getting it fixed or not. Like many others have said, not sure if I want my dealer tearing my interior apart. I have two Ford dealers in my town that I have dealt with and both seem to cause more damage than you originally started with.

Sorry, posted in wrong thread. I HATE how this forum just goes into a different discussion when you are scrolling down.

Anyway, I don't see an option to delete my post, so if a moderator can? Thanks.

Thank you Nassty! I will do that. Sometimes I don't notice when I go past one thread into another.

Hi and yes I have noticed very weak airflow in my 2020. It’s odd because when cold outside, my truck interior does warm up pretty well but I noticed the heat runs on like a fan speed of 3-4 (I can tell as I’ll turn it up manually when in the auto position) and every other car I’ve owned completely blasted the fan on the highest setting until warm then dropped the speed. I wonder if Ford did this to try to keep noise down in the cabin?
one thing is for sure, if it does this in the summer here in South Carolina with the AC this truck is going back to the dealership pronto.
