I was not signed up for beta but saw this.

 

I knew this was coming, transitioned to Android for it. And completely forgot to actually sign up for the beta.

Yeah, I'm in it. Been using it a bit. In all honesty, a bit underwhelming. Prefer Google Maps.

 

I hear that the AA version of Waze won't have some features. I am guessing the report thing will not be there (distracted driving). Those doing the beta, do they show police locations and disabled vehicles like the full app on the in-dash screen?

 

It does have the reporting. It's very easy and isn't very distracting. Two maybe three presses depending. It does show the cop on the map. Plus announces it through the speakers. Same with the red light cameras. It doesn't show the icons of others, among a few other things. It does have the majority of the things from the normal version.

 

One thing that is important to me is displaying the speed limit. This isn't in this beta version. Plenty of people have mentioned it on the forum though, so hopefully it gets added into the final version.

 

totally didn't see this when it released, but I just signed up. Have a S8+ to test with
