Default Water in rearview camera

My camera has visible water at the bottom of the screen when I put it into reverse. It's not broken (on the outside at least) and I live in the desert so WTF.

Does anyone else have this problem? How do you drain it and seal it?

I'd prefer to try and tackle it myself as my dealer is absolutely resistant to warranty work..........Last time I got run around for a few visits then they took the truck Friday through Tuesday without a loaner.

I know you don't want to do it but, I'd suggest going through your dealer. Or a trusted maintenance shop in your area.
Good luck.
