Default Water pump leaking?

2017 3.5EB and the pump was replaced a few years ago. I have always had a small leak. While under the truck I took some pictures of around the pump. From the pictures, can you tell if it is leaking from the pump? Thanks.

Looks like it's leaking around the pump. I just had mine replaced for that reason. Nothing was coming out of the weep hole. There are some o-rings that seal the passages on the pump to the block and one of those started dripping on mine. "Just replaced" doesn't always mean it's going to last.

I got mine replaced 9/2023, so three months outside warranty. I will confirm one last time it isn't the heater hoses, but I agree it does look like it is leaking around the seal. I will update once finished to let everyone know. Thanks.

It looks like the pump to me. Have you pressure tested the system?

I have not, but it leaks a lot when cold.

So it looks like a confirmation of the picture earlier of the leak. Is this the whole pump, or just a gasket that I can replace?

There's an o-ring that seals the pump to block. It looks like the pump from the pics.

Ordered new pump, thermostat, and gaskets for this job. I did get the Gates water pump as the OEM only lasted 27 months. Plus it has a limited lifetime warranty vs 24 months for OEM.
