Default Warning Light Bar

From time to time I need to use an amber warning light bar on my truck for work (the type you see on road construction vehicles along the side of the road). I don't want anything permanently mounted and don't want to cut in to my headlights/tail lights for integrated strobes. Since the trucks are aluminum, the standard magnetic style light bar that would normally stick on the roof obviously won't work. Anyone have a solution for this?

Where are you finding suction cup light bars? Or are you buying magnetic then adding your own suction cups? The ones with suction cups I am finding are for mounting to the inside of the windshield.

You can probably use something like these - http://www.vacuummounts.com/vacuum-mounts or https://www.seasucker.com/product-ca...vacuum-mounts/

It should be relatively simple to bolt a light or a bar (depending on the style of lights) to the vacuum mounts, then mount the lights up on that.

There are headache racks that mount with 1 bolt on each side. You could do one of those with a light bar on it. It would be 2 bolts and one plug. Probably would take you all of a minute to mount it when you need it.
