Here's the install instructions, it uses the stock BOV:

OK so since we are using a BOV then this will prevent condensation no matter how rainy/humid correct?

I don't really know the cause or answer for those with the condensation issues. My guess would be that like my 2011 5.0, more oil gets sucked through the pcv system on some than others. My 2011 5.0 would suck so much oil through the pcv system that it would be a quart low every 2k miles. Never could get it to stop sucking it through. I guess I'm just lucky on this engine so far because it has Been trouble free. I will check this intercooler on my next oil change and see if anything has changed with this intercooler and report back. To the op of this thread, was there any oil in your stock cac? How many miles are on your engine? Those shutters could possibly be the fix to the condensation issues on the new trucks.

I don't have any condensation issues or anything. Just looking to get this for better cooling and want to make sure it won't cause the condensation issues from the last gen of EBs

Two reasons it doesn't happen anymore, keep the CAC warmer (above the dewpoint) when needed (flaps) and eliminate dead air/collection spots in the CAC (new design with openings at bottom).
