I signed up a few weeks ago to be a beta tester for Waze. This evening downloaded the first Waze beta for Android Auto. I'll give it a try on the way to work in the morning and let you know my impressions.

Edit: Yes I know it says Wade in the thread title, but autocorrect got me before I realized it. Unfortunately I can't find any way to edit the title. Maybe a mod can help me out?

 

Not a good idea if you want to keep your beta access. You might want to read your agreement again.

 

This may be moot soon as SmartDeviceLink takes off. Waze has joined on and all signs point to that it should be available through simple AppLink soon enough.

Yeah because I am sure he signed up as "Anolesfan" in the beta. Unless they can tie his real name to his F150 Forum account there is little they can do about him giving the forum his impressions.

 

I wish Waze worked around here. I tried it and found it fairly useless.
