I have remote start, not from the factory, but the dealer added before vehicle pickup, so I have the separate fob. Not sure if that makes a difference for what I need.

Somehow I switched it from two clicks to start the car to where I now have to hold the button (just once, not twice) for 3+ seconds before it starts. How do I set it back?

 

In case this happens to anyone else I figured it out - with truck not running turn key to ON position, then press remote start button 3 times within 5 seconds. You will hear either one beep or two beeps.

One Beep - Hold button to start

Two Beeps - Press button twice to start
