Default Vin on replacement frame

If the complete frame is replaced does Ford stamp the vin on it ?

IIRC, there's a VIN transfer form the shop has to fill out in order to transfer the VIN tag(s) from one frame to another.

That's what I'm not sure of. Usually you see a VIN through the windshield on the lower driver's side corner. I know mfgs used to put VIN tags on the front frame rail in the engine bay, but I don't think they do that any more.

The VIN is stamped / placed on multiple pieces so it's harder for stolen cars to be parted out.
