Default video/pic guide to replace dash speaker

If anyone here could do a step by step center dash tweeter/speaker replacement instruction that'd be wonderful, tried Youtube, but the splicing and alteration needed on the harness to fit the aftermarket speaker is just not clear. The instruction can be with any brand, Kicker, Infinity etc. whatever I can buy from Crutchfield and follow the guide exactly. Disclaimer, I am a complete idiot when it comes to car electronics... The best I've done myself is replacing USB port, touchscreen and lights, but I realize speaker replacement is a lot more complicated!

also, one crucial question, what signal does the dash speaker receive? when playing music from CD, radio and MP3, does sound come out from it? or it only plays the voice guidance of Sync 3 and my iphone? (i do believe any voice guidance also use the door speakers otherwise it'd be very puny and noticeable).

I could be wrong, but I believe the center speaker is just a split-feed off of the front door speakers, hence it's 8 Ohms. You're going to have a hard time finding an aftermarket 3.5" speaker that's 8 Ohms. Almost all are 4 Ohms.

Using a plastic pry tool, remove the speaker grill. Remove the two screws you can now see. Then start pulling around the edges until you pull all the clips out. You will use more force than you think is safe.
