Default Vibration under acceleration

This is a new one for me. My 16 F150 KR Eco 3.5 with 38k miles is having symptoms similar to an out of balance tire. Problem is the vibration happens while I am coasting on the Highway and press the accelerator.Take my foot off the pedal and it stops. I can even feel it through the pedal and am now concerned it could be serious, unless maybe the driveshaft is now out of balance? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The first thing I would do is have the tires re balanced.

Is it happening at roughly 60-65 mph? It's a fairly common issue, my truck is in the shop for the 4th time and second dealer for this issue. Tires have been balanced 4 times now, 3 different sets of wheels and tires, pinion angle has been modified, so far no luck at a resolution. It's not a tire vibration, it's a high frequency vibration, best way I can describe it, it is a buzzing speed type vibration.

I had a similar issue, dealer changed the driveshaft and problem is gone.

Had it at 75-85mph. Had a good 2 piece driveshaft built and it’s smooth as glass now. I put my truck on stands and ran it in gear so I could watch the driveshaft. I planned to use a dial indicator to check runout but it had a visible warp. After seeing the “scrap if dropped” sticker on it and knowing how much power I’m putting through it...I had a real shaft built.

Did you have it serviced recently?

Thanks guys for the replies. I've had it in more than once over this issue and kept being told it is normal. The 75-85 shakes were there pretty much since new and the excuse was the truck is very light and the bed is shaking at high speed. I don't know if to try again or look for another Ford dealer and insist they check the drive shaft. Now of course it is happening at lower speeds which is very annoying.

Should I go this route or just purchase a drive shaft myself and put it on?

I noticed this about a month ago when changing the oil. Truck is past the 36k warranty but this should fall under the power train warranty.

Where did you get your drive shaft? I still haven't decided if it's best I get one that's not OEM or try a convince the dealer or another dealer to check the drive shaft.
