ventilated vs cooled
Do those of you with a Lariat 501A with the heated and ventilated leather bucket seats find them to be too hot in the summer to be comfortable. I am assuming the 501A ventilated and 502A cooled seats are not the same seats. One section on Ford's web site describes 501A and 502A as ventilated and another describes them as cooled. confused! Thanks

Depends on how lucky you are. Ventilated or cooled, most here on this forum said they don't work. I am one of the lucky few that has working ventilated/cooled seats on my 2017. Worked well with 100F outside (AC on inside, of course). Cooler days I actually have to turn it down.

I have ordered a 2018 lariat 501A with the sport package and I'm trying to figure out if it will have the cooled leather bucket seats. Ford order site says ventilated leather bucket seats with flow thru console what ever ventilated means.

Heated/cooled are standard in the Lariat series. 500a base lists them. They are all ventilate in that they have 2 fans that blow the heated or cooled air through them.
