2017 5.0

On way to work everything shot down, gauges, center display read vehicle network communication error.

Coasted to side of road (not sure if truck was running really as I was trying to get off highway safe.)

When everything came back on wrench light and wrench message on cluster.

Drove rest of the way to work no problem.

When I got the truck a few months ago it did have a dead battery one morning....jumped and no issues since (several months now)

Ideas?

I do have a code reader (Bluetooth) hooked to it but that's been on for a few months as well.

Have not looked at anything yet

 

Start with the battery. Terminals clean, load test how old is it. There’s usually a date on them somewhere.

 

Thx will do that when I get home. Left early started fine for the ride home....wrench light no longer on
