Default Variable Exhaust System

Do I need one of you have experience with a variable exhaust system?
I’m running a 2017 Whipple supercharged 5.0 screw and I am considering headers, high flow cats, an exhaust system and a tune.
I ran across the Varex muffler (see link below) which I thought is pretty cool. I really like how it uses GPS to close the valve and make it quieter when you enter your neighborhood.
I wonder if it can be integrated with the truck and tuned via OZ, MPT or another tuner...

XForce makes a nice system, usually all 304SS. However I have heard of the valves getting clogged, and when the valves are closed the systems are crazy restrictive. With the valves open they sound good....basically straight piped with a little resonating to cut rasp, but with the valves closed the sound quality varies from system to system....the one they make for the 5.0 Mustang sounds like trash with the valve closed.

There is another member here building a full system, headers back, using a dual in / dual out Varex muffler.

Speaking from experience, skip the headers. The gains are minimal and you will fight exhaust leaks forveeerrrr..

So your saying it's either open or closed ,I thought you could open it about a 1/4 or what ever you like and I'm sure a little open is fine with neighbors.I have a young guy in the hood with a mustang but it sounds like a eco six I guess but his exhaust is my alarm clock 6am every morning.

The varex is completely variable the app lets you manually adjust the butterfly valve from 0 to 100%. It also has neat features that can tie into the car and open at certain RPMs, certain locations (GPS), speeds, etc. My only issue with the system is performance becomes compromised at any setting aside from open, as the actual "quiet" portion of the muffler routes the exhaust through an approximately 1.25" hole.
