Vanishing Posts
Uhhhhhhhhmmmmmmm
hm. Please keep me posted on this. It's hard to catch hiccups like this... I was going to comment that sometimes posts don't show up unless you refresh the page, but if they're not showing up in your post history that means they're not getting through at all...

If you type your response in the quick reply box and hit the Yellow Reply button your post will "vanish". Perhaps you did this? I have done that a few times and was like what happened to my post? then realized I was just opening another reply box and deleting what I had written. First time it happened was annoying, second time frustrating, third I was like what am I doing wrong?
The only posts that looked like they disappeared for me were because two similar threads were merged into one. I thought they thread was deleted until l got a notifications when someone posted in the other thread, and then I was able to see my "missing" post in the other thread. Wondering if the same happened here.

I only noticed it when I saw my post count go down by two right after making a post. Could have been a merging of a thread or something I suppose.
I so rarely have anything of value to contribute, it's probably for the best.

Correct, "Post Your Quick Reply" is the button to submit the post you're writing, not the yellow "Reply" button.
just FYI
Pretty much everything we do leaves an audit trail. Usually there is a redirect left when we merge or move threads. Your history will also reflect where your posts are. Even when we edit a person’s post, it leaves an edit message at the bottom.
Thanks Jose for checking the concerns.
