I will go to dealership next time. I just didn't this time he sure I figured I would be there for an hour for 5 minute oil change. I'll just run this valvoline then switch back to motorcraft

Valvoline and Ford have a special relationship going all the way back to the Henry Ford days. High mileage formula's general have a heavier add pack that holds viscosity over the long run and some type of seal rejuvenating chemicals that really doesn't do anything other than cause a little swelling of what little gasket material it makes contact with. It simply will not cause any problems or make anything blow up or self destruct. It is fine to use in any vehicle regardless of mileage or condition.

Or its a ticking time bomb... (just kidding)
