Default Used my truck for what it's made for....

..and now i have gravel in my tailgate.

Really regretting the moment I said, "it, just load the gravel in the back."

The shop-vac can only pull so much out. As **** as I can be, I only have so much patience on NOT having a clean truck with under 2.2k miles.

Any tips/tricks on removing the tailgate? I have the backup camera (electronic lock-Lariat).

(putting the flame-suit on)

The tailgate comes off in about 30 seconds. Unplug the camera connection under the center of the rear bed, remove both tailgate straps, lower it halfway and pull 1 side. Comes off SUPER EASY.

Like an idiot, I was expecting to have it disconnected by taking the tailgate panel off (with the torq bits).

Thanks!

Where is the gravel? What is your plan after you get it off?

When I opened the tailgate, the gaping hole where the harness goes through for the lock/camera/led allowed for some gravel when I began shoveling it out.

Not drive a truck that sounds like a maraca when I take turns.

For some reason I was thinking there was a grommet there on mine. Now I can't remember. I'll check though.

Planning to disassemble the tailgate, try tipping it back and forth and hoping the gravel falls out, filling it up with expanding foam, or some other plan?

Nah, they don't have grocery bag hooks on the bottom of the rear seats. My Titan did.
