Default Used Lariat?

I found a 2015 Lariat w/ 18,000 miles and the 502a package so I emailed the dealership and they promptly replied that its being sold as we are speaking pending finance. Is this a trick the dealership will use to make you "want" the vehicle even more? Anyways I said if anything changes let me know. They emailed me back a few hours later letting me know its back on the market with firm internet price of $42,876. Four days later now they are saying they will sell it to me for $42,500 but the offer is only good if I buy it this week. I'm not in a huge rush to get into a truck, but this is an extremely well kept and clean F150. Is there any wiggle room with these trucks and being used? What are some good points to try and talk them down? They are offering 60 months @ 1.9% with $1,000 down. I'd prob be putting anywhere from $5000-$10,000 down and trading in my 2014 Mazda 6. I also have a near 800 credit score so I am hoping for a little better on the interest rate. Any thoughts?

for ref: I bought a 2016 Supercrew, 6.5 box, 3.5 ecoboost, 4x4, lariat, 502A, Sport trim, glass roof, max tow last week for 49,000 CAD. It's got just about everything except tow mirrors. It was a Demo with 17,000 kms on it (approx 14,000 miles).

That's around 36,750 USD with the current exchange rate.....

For what it's worth. I paid 47,000 new for that truck. I've also been looking at my local dealer lately. They have two with those same specs with similar miles at 42,995

Deals are out there. I picked up a used fully loaded King Ranch for $45k with 7,700 miles on it. 9 months earlier the truck was sold for $59k. I had to drive 5 hours away but it was well worth it. Good luck OP.

Market dictates price. Only you can dictate the value.

A lot of people on this board received the "deal of a lifetime" when buying their trucks.

My lariate SCrew with 5.5 bed, 5.0L, moon roof, nav, center console, 502A, elocker, tailgate step, max tow, trailer brake, 36gal, bed liner, FX4 was 46,500. MRSP 55,000. I think you could do a little better but it's what you want go for it.
