Default USB Question

Does anyone know what the output of the USB's are? I ran a USB cable from the center console to a dash cam and it doesn't seem to have the power to run the camera. Every few minutes the dash cam reboots. When I use the cigarettes lighter plug, that came with the camera for the power supply it works fine. Thinking of adding a USB 3.0 in the center console, in hope that it would solve the issue.

I believe it's 15 W for the regular USB ports. I checked Owner Manual, SYNC Supplement, and Work Shop Manual and I couldn't find any written specification.

On both of my F150s, the built-in USB ports have been weak, really ineffective for recharging or even trying to maintain charge on my current devices. They seem to have been installed for data only. I always use a cigarette-lighter charger.
