Default USB port limits

I use one of my USB ports in front of the shifter to plug my phone for charging and to access my Android Auto. I know it doesn't matter which one I plug into. But the question I have is a 2 part question, can I plug a flash drive loaded with music into the other port, and be able to access both the Android auto for maps, and play the music on the flash drive at the same time? And is there a size limit to the GB staorage space on the flash drive that the truck is designed to handle?

AA just lets your phone project whatever it wants onto your screen. If you've plugged in a USB stick directly to the truck, you need to use the truck interface to select and play that music. I haven't used AA, but with CarPlay, you can start music via the truck interface and then switch over to CarPlay for Maps and as long as you don't try and play music from CarPlay it won't take over the audio. I don't know how navigation would work, if it would interrupt the truck music to play navigation sounds or not.

I like the fact that I can run the AA and it mutes the radio when giving direction commands. So I imagine if it's on Radio, or playing a CD, it would still mute the music. I hadn't played around with it much since I got the truck back in January. And the owners manual is not able to answer my questions.
