I have the new USB module, the one that works for Carplay. As of yesterday only one of the ports only has charging capabilities, the other can do both, charge and read data. Could the one port have just died? I have had the module around 2 years and it always worked just fine. Thoughts? Is the part warrantied? I got it from the dealer parts department.

 

I'd guess its like all electrical parts. Once its installed there is no warranty. Can't hurt to go back to where you bought it from and whine. Maybe they'll give you a break on the replacement.
