Default URGENT need answer

Hello guys i have question about tire , im buying Tomorrow a BFGoodrich Allterain T/A kO2 LT 285/70R17 (116/113Q) my question is is it compatible to my stock rims? , and im using stock rims from my ford f150 2015 and my stock tire is 265/70R17 115T thank you so much in advance for the answers .

Most tire shops won't sell you incompatible tires.

1. yes the 285 size will fit on the stock wheels
2. going from 265 to 285 should be ok and no lift/leveling kit needed

When in doubt go to the tire manufacturer's website and look at the specs for the tire your interested in. They will specify the rim with range suitable for the size you are looking at.

Then all you need to know is the width of your rim which is available from many sources.

That's what I did.

Making sure that new tire/rim combo will fit in your wheel wells is another matter...
