I found a cheap console with floor shift to swap out my center folding seat. Keeping Column shift . Console didn’t have the trim that goes around cup holder/ shifter area.. that trim is stupid expensive !

researched and found the super duty trim/ insert is better - allows for more storage / cup holder... but is stupid espenice.. like $275.

anyone seen or know of a sub $200 solution?

 

When I tried to put that Super Duty center trim into my 2016 center console (I liked the sliding cup-holder thing) it would NOT clear the existing vent under structure of my 2016 console. I know some guys have gotten them to fit, but it may have been in a 2017 or newer, or whatever... I tried it with one out of a brand new Super Duty in the parking lot of the dealership.

My buddy needed to find that piece for his truck, and he went through eBay listings for wrecked trucks that had some damage to the console but that part was intact. Sent them a message to see if they would sell just that part. Usually the ones who have intact consoles won't separate the parts for the same reason you're asking here

 

im not gonna hook up the rear vents, so il take that air tube out.. thanks for the heads up.

dang even when i think i get a bead on one like on tasca, it ends up being stupid shipping charges.- might as well order from dealership. just wish i had a hookup
