Question Upgrading The Heater

Odd question for y'all. The wife and i both run at different temps which either means she's cold in the truck or I'm baking. I have a 2015 F150 XLT Sport. It DOES NOT have dual controlled heat in the cab. I'm already looking at upgrading my center dash screen to the 12.1" (Telsa Screen). Question is: Can i change my heat controls from single temp controls to dual controls so i can have cool air flowing at me and the wife can be warmer then a Kentucky chicken? Thanks!

Short answer - No....there are more components than just the climate control panel that makes the dual zone function

Functionally, it seems like you’d need two blend doors, two different duct channels out from them, and two fans blowing through those blend doors into those separate ducts...and obviously *something* controlling those independent fans and blend doors.

Short answer? Anything is possible, given enough time, knowledge, and money. Realisticially, I don't think it's possible. Easy solution is a Lariat.

The easiest solution is to compromise and set the car temp at whatever your wife wants.

Let's see... be hot, or deal with a pissed off woman. That's an easy decision!
