Default Upgrade seat padding

Is there an upgrade for the seat padding, I have an xlt and about to switch to katzkin. Is there an upgraded pad or insert that wouldn’t mess with the heated seats?

The heating element is attached to a “sheet” that lays on top of the foam. So adding foam on the existing foam and under the “sheet” shouldn’t be a problem. I wish I had done something different with my seat foam when I did swapped in my Katskinz too. The factory foam seems to break down pretty quick and leaves a little to be desired even when it’s brand new.

If you find something that works well, or a shop that dials it in, please share the info.

Thanks for the info. I learned that the xlt has a different pad from the lariat and the limited has a different/ better pad than the lariat.

It might be because I came from a 19 Sierra (and currently drive a 20 Silverado for work) but my 19 XLT seats are pretty damn comfy. Much more padding than the GM variants.

We used these when building seat inserts for race cars.
