I'm wondering if it's possible to order a OEM Lariat dash cluster, the 8 inch one and install it in a XLT Sport to replace the 4inch one. Has anyone tried this, will it work?

It will work and has been done. However, I think you might have to program the miles in the odometer. For that reason I abandoned the prospect because I have an 8 year service agreement and figured they would say I tampered with the milage. Good luck.

 

Yes I've done it long ago and many others here. It does require some programming changes, but it very easy to swap out.
