Every time I start my car I get a prompt saying it needs to be connected to wifi to download a software update. The problem is, if I park, connect to wifi, and run a scan for updates, I don't get anything back saying an update is needed, and the sync version shows as 3.3

any idea what's going on here? I noticed that in the owner.ford.com page it says "no data received from vehicle" whenever I go and look at the vehicle health prompts

 

The wifi updates suck and rarely work right anyway. If you want to update it, assuming one is available, do it off the Sync website with a USB stick.

You can turn off the auto-update notifications.
