Per Ford the weight savings alone with worth 1 mpg per every 400lbs
So on a 2015 with 700lbs loss in weight the mpg will be near 2 mpg better
So even the 3.5L Eco will have better MPG numbers for the 2015 model year
A fair amount more yet with the 2.7L Eco
Lighter weight and better efficiency
A little birdie told me the 4x2 trucks with a 2.7 will be minimum 26 highway . .
And yes if driven right competition for the Dodge diesel 1500
Numbers should be revealed on November 5th I am told.
Thats about all the hints I can give . .
