Undercoating
Did this for my 09 super duty plow truck I picked up last fall. They sprayed the hell out of it and made quite a mess but after the winter it seemed to work pretty well. When I first got it back I was not pleased as the stuff went everywhere and made a huge mess. Couldn't even open the hood to add washer fluid without putting gloves on. I even had to apologize to the shop when it went in for service about the mess. Also left oily marks anytime it rained or I washed it. Didn't stain anything but was just obnoxious. Overall the stuff worked but I would probably go with something less messy next time around

Waxoyl works best on new, clean vehicles. On vehicles with mild surface corrosion, the NHOU is a better underbody choice. FluidFilm remains ideal for enclosed sections, tail gates, doors, rocker panels, etc. As with any product, critical to thoroughly clean the underbody.

I sprayed the entire undercarriage with fluid film last fall and im happy to report even in the front where its recieved the most spray its still there. Mind you its not as much as the parts that never get sprayed but im impressed. And I knew going in that it would have to be touched up from time to time. PS..Its supposed to pick up dirt , believe it or not that makes it more effective.
Undercoating was $189. No touch ups necessary. It also add a little noise dampening from road debris too.
I did Fluid Film last fall, it washed off the crash bars but looks like it stayed on everything else pretty well. Did mine with an airless spray gun, may try it with an undercoating gun next time (I have one in the garage, just didn't get a chance to use it)
