Default Ugh, Dang Cup Holders STINK..

Can't even put a 40oz Naglene bottle in one of the holders, the door one is worthles unless your putting a small bottle of water or such in it & the 4 in theflow through center console. Heck, those 4 are worthless unless your doing a drive thrugh burger joint's sidey cup or small bottle of pop....

Why is it Ford can't make it so those of us who do not use drive thru's or drink sodey have a place to put our water bottles....

Ever have a faimly of 4 in your truck, each of them with a 40oz Naglene bottle and noplace to stick those bottles within easy access...

Ugh....my rant for the day....

I guess the Ford designers are like me, they never heard of "Naglene"...
we were at the local car show a month or so ago, and it seems that even large sedans and SUVs these days come with x-small cupholders, sometimes just 1, not even 2...
maybe it's not hip / cool to drink & drive anymore

I can see how it's annoying to some... for me, I'm happier with these new cupholders than what was in my 2011... Monsters and paper coffee cups (starbucks, caribou, etc) fit in there better... ymmv

Cup holders are generally designed for standard size cups/bottles, trying to make them the most practical across the board. Though I don't know of any personally that'll hold a water bottle of that size base.

But the body is aluminum, isn't that enough to make some sacrifices in creature comfort???
