Default Two pricing questions

Sorry for the lack of searching but I'm at the dealer this morning getting service done and came across something that I would consider trading up to. First question, what is the average price difference for the bigger bed on a SCREW? I don't want the larger bed, but they have the exact truck I'd like with everything I'm looking for but this one has the longer bed.

Last question, came across this other truck and really like it. I know it's hard to ask but what can I realistically expect off their listed "internet" price?

Again, sorry for the lack of searching.

Yuck. I'd run far away from that dealer. The MSRP for that truck is $34k, not $36.5k. They sound, to me, like a dealer who will "give you a great deal" by bringing it down to $34k for you, but that's the MSRP anyway.

Thanks for the info! Glad I asked.

On the sport it is. The long bed was on another XLT.

First, you should stop what you're doing. NEVER look at vehicles unprepared.

On the dealer link you provided, they clearly show the sticker if you click on it... Under Shopping Tools. And it is $44,385.

What can you get off their Internet Price? Impossible to know, since it provides no details as to rebates, etc. Ask them for the SmartVincent printout showing MSRP, invoice, A/Z/D/X plans, and all rebates.

Again - doing this without being prepped is the best way to get taken advantage of.

Will most dealers show you the MSRP price? It's the window sticker and they did show it to you...

Hm. The VIN tool shows that vehicle's MSRP at around $34k. Now I wonder why there is a discrepancy between the window sticker and the tool.

MSRP on windows stick is $44,385. TrueCar estimate for your zip code is $34,900. Average price paid is $35,500. The internet price is too high. You can use TrueCar, get a printout that matches your configuration and purchase for a lower price without any haggling in most cases. Dealer should be able to go below TrueCar some if you negotiate off that fact.

This is a little closer to my math. According to the ford site, XLT with this Ecoboost and sport package qualify for the following:

$9759 - total savings
+
$1000 - smart cash
+
$500 - ford credit

With the sticker price of 44,385. After rebates I should be at 33,126 (before x plan which I qualify for). I think I am looking at this correctly.
