I did a search and was surprised that I didn't find anything other than people speculating on the boost numbers.

With knowing the 3.5 has inferior power capability to the 11-14' thanks to some changes by ford it has me curious how much the 2.7 can be pushed.

On a side note, my local dealer has almost identical 2.7 and 5.0 trucks that I'm probably going to test drive today. If I do I'll report back my findings.

 

Looking forward to the report - please give as much details as you can on specs and prices. I never heard that the the 3.5tt was inferior to the '11-14. What do you mean by this?

Damn that sucks, it will be a lot of work to get any gains from the 3.5tt unlike the older trucks. So the 5.0 was given a snow plow option and more hp while the 3.5tt was nurfed in several ways (fuel pump, map, no 3.73 gears in 145")
