1 week now and I have to say I am totally happy with the Eco without tunes as it seems muck more responsive and smoother than my 13 and with Sport mode it feels nice and tuned. Can see me spending the money on a tuner in my 15.

 

The Livernois 91 performance v6 seems to be working nice for me.

 

I agree these new 15s feel great even stock. But once you drive / ride in one with our custom tune, most cannot stand to drive them stock ever again. Most all of our customers call or email afterwards stating they are so much more happier with their vehicles after loading a tune and feel this is the way they should come from the factory.

I just sent Anthony a thank you e-mail. I have been severely infected by the power bug. The truck runs so smooth now. Now I'm thinking down pipes, inter cooler pipe upgrades, and maybe a few other things. Working on the suspension now. I was thinking of a lift, but don't want to lose speed or economy. This truck has already gone through 18 inches of snow, and snow would be my main reason to lift.

 

I would love to tune my '15 Platinum, but I've heard that tunes void your warranty. Is this true?

 

There is a good chance. I spent weeks debating if I was going to risk it at all. That said the tune makes the truck run even smoother. I've had two vehicles tuned before this one and both ran well over 100,000 miles. One was traded and is still on the road as far as I know, and the other my wife crashed at 115,000. If certain things do go wrong i.e. Turbos or intercooler I'll just upgrade those. I still have an extended warranty as this truck has all kind of things that can break.

 

2010 felt like I needed a custom tune and I got one was glad. 2011 5.0 felt like it needed and it did make a difference. 2013 after I took ownership I had to have a custom tune. 2015 didn't for a second feel like I needed one and months later I feel the same way. A great improvement over previous year. Now that said I have never had a custom tube that gave me better mileage and power but have made that initial throttle response more attractive. But sport mode gives me that so I deem it not required.

We had a customer that went to the track yesterday and he ran low 13 second times in the 1/4 mile with the newest tune you have, cold air intake, and our high flow catted downpipes. So it should definitely be much quicker than stock now.

Warranty is a touchy subject with many guys on here. We have not had any issues with warranty on our vehicles when tuned. The dealer knows what we do with the vehicles and just asks us to put the stock tune back in when they go in for service.
