Default TSB question

does anybody know if the dealer will honor a TSB if the vehicle is out of warranty?

actually yes. Well known issues are the basis of tsb's. And I my self have had dealers take care of me on several tsb's passed the warranty but under 100k. At least ask. It really depends on what it is.

TSBs SHOULD be like recalls. If there's a known issue, they should fix it. That's why there is a TSB.

I think it depends if it is safety related or not. A brake issue most likely would be a recall. Excessive static in the radio would be a TSB.

did you take it in to ford to fix before the warranty expired? If so 100% yes they will.

Dealers are not required to. In some cases it can be done as a goodwill if you have been a good customer or complained about the issue when it was still under warranty.
