Default truck shaking between 85 and 95 kmh ?

my 2016 super crew 6.5 5.0l is shaking between 85 and 95 kmh . Has anyone else had this issue . It shakes loaded or unloaded . I have a 3.55 locking rear end . Just looking for some help before I take it in and get a song and dance from the dealer.

Are your tires balanced? Is there a bad tire?

Many years back my truck would studder? exactly between 54 and 56mph. Turned out to be a bad spark plug wire.

Mine was shaking pretty bad when I would hit 80. It was was the tires being out of balance. Thankfully. Good Luck OP

Mine ('16 SCREW 6.5ft box, 3.55 and 5.0L, 2wd) has been doing that since shortly after I received the truck a year ago. The dealer has checked the driveshaft, rebalanced and road forced the tires 6 times. Apparently one wheel kept throwing a weight and they really cleaned it up and got it to stick. But I found I still had a minor shake and drumming. Today their suspension specialist went with me on a road test where he agreed I had a shake and booming at 40-50 mph which got worse when I got of gas and coasted. He went over the truck again and found BOTH rear tires are out of round. Warranty is 12 months/12k for tires. I'm at a year with 22k on the truck but it is on record since 2 weeks after delivery about the issue. Have a meet with the service manager next week and will go from there. This dealer has been great and I expect them to be fair.

Have the dealer verify the tires are not out of round, properly balanced and road force tested. Tell the dealer you want their best suspension person to go on a road test with you. Make sure you know a road nearby where you can reproduce the problem. Show him when it happens. It will give him a place to start, and after he's done, take him on a road test to verify the issue is fixed.

Also the driveshaft was not properly installed. This was picked up when I took it in for an oil change. The tech test drove it after the change, felt a shake and put the truck back up on the rack. Apparently there are marks on the yokes for the tranny and pinion that should match up with marks on the driveshaft to best match for balance. Similar to the dot of the wheel and tire for best balance before adding weights.

Remember, if your dealer won't work with you, there is no obligation to use that dealer for warranty or service.
